Victory hexes in LGeneral for Linux

Has anyone played LGeneral and could they answer a question.

I have downloaded this game and got it working and am quite impressed by it but I cant figure out where the 'victory hexes' are that you are supposed to occupy to win a scenario.

The game doesnt come with much documentation unfortunately.

thanks in advance
