Vessel crashing at orchard "boss" with signal 11 error

Hey, I've been working at this for a little bit and I'm not sure what might be going wrong. The game has been running just fine up until I get to the boss in the orchard level. I run it from a terminal and this is what I get
Code:
ERROR: Signal 11
./x86/vessel.x86[0x88c1c55]
linux-gate.so.1(__kernel_sigreturn+0x0)[0xf77a6400]
[0xf5f0a07]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x84754a5]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x868ad11]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x80a61b8]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x8565e40]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x85680cd]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x8568ce2]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x856c67f]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x8362127]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x871be10]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x871d003]
./x86/vessel.x86[0x88c3747]
/usr/lib32/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xf5)[0xf735f825]
I've read a little about what might be causing the sig11 error, but what might it mean in this context and how might I fix it? I should also mention that I am running an AMD HD7770 gfx card with the catalyst 12.10 proprietary driver. Also other games work just fine. Please help.

In this specific case it would be most helpful for you if you directly ask the developers, they should be much more knowledgeable about what is going on here.

I suppose that would be wise. Pretty sure this game was ported to linux pretty recently. Thanks much.
