This ut2004demo, what kind of file is it? What file format is it? Is it a '.rpm, tar.gz, .deb, exe ?
Also tell what distro you are using.

It should be a .run file ... Make sure you have the full demo file!! I downloaded the one from the UT website but its only 80megs or so...THIS IS NOT THE FULL DEMO. The full demo is around 200-250megs. Be sure you find it first.
