ut2004 will not save my settings
 

Hey all,

I have no clue why, but UT2004 will not save my settings. For instance, when I goto the menu -> settings -> input -> input keys ... and i change a key mapping, when i quit the game and start it again, my key mapping is not saved. I'm not understanding it.

Another thing is, if I goto menu -> display and change the resolution the game runs at, the whole game dissapears, but the process does not terminate. Like if i run it from a shell, i try to change the display, the whole display terminates and i'm back in fvwm at my shell, but the game is still running in the shell, i have ctrl+c it ??

I am using:
Gentoo with linux kernel 2.6.11-r6
Leadtek Winfast 6800 TDH
1GB Ram
P4 3.0ghz w/HT
