Angry UT2004 installed but wont run

hi im new to linux & running Suse 9.1 pro. I decided to get linux for when i upgrade to 64-bit plus i hate micro$oft. Anyway after many attempts to install UT2004 i finally got it right. Then at the end in the UT installer's console it said:

kbuildsycoca running...
Reusing existing ksycoca
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: Property 'X-KDE-Weight' is defined in multiple times (KOfficeFilter)
kio (KService*): WARNING: Invalid Service : Applications/KBarcode-label.desktop
kio (KService*): WARNING: Invalid Service : /usr/share/applications/cphone.desktop

then i tried to run the game and it said: KDEInit could not launch '/usr/local/games/ut2004/ut2004'

at first i thought that it was a problem w/ KBarcode & cphone so i went into YaST and took them out. but it still wont work & now when i type kbuildsycoca in the konsole i get:

linux:~ # kbuildsycoca
kbuildsycoca running...
Reusing existing ksycoca
kbuildsycoca: WARNING: Property 'X-KDE-Weight' is defined multiple times (KOfficeFilter)
linux:~

i have tried to reinstall UT2004 but it all happens the same. i think it may have something to do with X-KDE-Weight but being a nOoB i have no idea how to go about fixing that.

Plz Plz help me!!!

Hi,

first check if you have a KDE or UT2004 problem,
by runnig UT2004 from the commandline.

Open an (x)term and start ut2004,
(a link should be present in /usr/local/bin)

If this works,
UT is fine, but I can't help you with KDE.

If it doesn't work,
please reply...

Please also download and install the official patch for UT2K4.
