unreal engine games with no linux version?

in reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreal_engine I see the listed unreal engine versions and which games use each engine. Under every engine I see a game available for linux.

what I want to know is why havn't the rest of the games been ported?

http://icculus.org/~chunky/ut/unreal/ : unreal 1 got to become a linux game because UT was already ported and they both use the same engine.

http://icculus.org/~ravage/devastation/ : devastation became a linux game and it uses the unreal warfare engine same as ut2003 & ut2004.

Did the community just get lazy? Or is there a step in the process of porting a game that cannot be done for the others?

All answers are appreciated but I would like someone seasoned to tell me so I can better understand.

There'll be no accurate answer for your question, but guesses. My guess is:

1 - Not enough interesting from Linux community to port those games. Most Linux users aren't gamers...

2 - Technical difficulties: Even if the game uses Unreal engine, it could still be rendering in DirectX instead of OpenGL and since those are closed source games that will be no easy task. Also, some games, like Unreal 2 is so buggy that you should be happy to get it to run sometimes.

3 - Some games are just so crappy that the trouble porting it is not even worth. XIII has to be the worst game I ever played. Full install requires you to swap disks during gameplay, for example
