Uninstalling winex... complete?
I am newbie with linux. I use Fedora core 2. I installed winex using rpm. Now I want to have cedega, so I have to uninstall winex3. I still don't realise, how uninstalling and installing works. It really bugs me, that i can't choose where I install my files. (After Windows I guess that's it's no wonder )
Anyway I used to command: rpm -e winex3 The machine did something. After I tried again with verbose mode, it says that no winex installed. So uninstalling was a succes. But I still have ./transgaming folder in my home folder. Winex doesnt work anymore. But files are still there. What now? I wan't to get rid of everything that referrs to winex Thanks in advance... |
Actually I have wine3.3 and winex4.0 both installed and they coexist quite well in different directories. the reason is that some games have bugs in 4.0 but run fine in 3.3... Like CS:condition zero only works right in 3.3...

rm -fr .transgaming
They leave the folder there since perhaps you just uninstalled due to a problem, and will reinstall the program shortly I assume. |
