trying to install doom3
 

i went and saved the client, but when i try and drag it over to command line to run i get this:

and i am pretty new to linux, and i am brand new to linux gaming, so i might just be making a stupid mistake, but idk what that would be, so any help would be appreciated

chmod 777 /home/iamsam/Desktop/doom3-linux-1.3.1302.x86.run

yeah i tried making it an executable right after i posted, then i installed everything, and got all excited, but then i got this error:

im running FC5, and the machine specs are, amd64 3200+, 1gb ram, and 256mb nvidia 6600, just in case you need to know

Yeah, it segfaults on my amd64 3200 too, so it's not just you. :) Haven't figured out why yet. :scratch:

(Can't remember offhand exactly what version I'm using.)
