toggle console in quake3 trouble
 

I have trouble to bring down the console in quake 3 under linux, I've tried several different bkeybindings, all from § (which is standard from windows) to "i", but nothing works. Anyone that had this trouble?
My config is from my old windows version of quake 3.
My system is fedora core 1.
quake version is 1.32b,

Hold shift and press the button left to the backspace key. You can also bind your own key, just open your config file (normally q3config.cfg) and enter:That way you can toggle the console on/off with the P key.
