hello all. I downloaded supertux and installed it with no problem and everything was fine. however, now when i try to run the game i get this error message:

Error: Couldn't load musicfile
/usr/share/games/supertux/music/SALCON.MOD

every other game or app that uses sound is working but supertux, if i use :

supertux --disable-sound

it works with no sound. but it was working so what's the deal? i already shut off kde sound system a long time ago and i thought that solved all my previous sound problems. i guess something else i ran is hogging the sound device but i don't know how to find out what it is. or maybe it's a library problem. has this happened to anyone else?

have you gone to /usr/share/games/supertux/music
and looked to see if SALCON.MOD exists??

that error means the file cannot be found........maybe it did not get installed at all........

yes freakyg it is there. but get this, when i open up that file with xmms or whatever it plays! how can i open the sound file but superux can't?
