Steam Problem
 

OK, i installed Steam (the installer worked fine) but when it executed steam it just hangs:

here's what i got from my terminal when i installed it (and after it automatically started steam)

OK this is fixed Steam is updated but it gets stuck on launching with no console output... (i.e. box saying launching steam comes up but just stays there)

is the steam network a bit busy at the moment because sometimes while trying to update before it would complain about not being able to get on to the steam network
