Steam and Cedega problem

I've isntalled Steam and updated everything nice and smooth.

But when I start any game this error accures:

Quote:
...error 108: The local Steam service is not running
I've checked at steampowered.com and they said that I should remove the steam.dll file in my SteamApps..../.../.. but I have no steam.dll file there!

What could be wrong?
