StarCraft + wine - using native libs

Hi, i've seen there are many threads concerning playing StarCraft with wine but no one helps me. Actually there is no solution making available using battle.net - or perhaps i haven't found. That's why i thought about window's native dlls. I've tried out wininet.dll and ddraw.dll. They haven't helped.

Have you ever used substituted (window's native) libs in wine (to play StarCraft or do something else)? Do you know how to check what libs application needs (windows executable)? If you know anything that may help me to play the game, write.

I haven't played Starcraft on WINE, but I have played WoW on it and had no issues with battle.net

Hopefully these links can help you out, maybe you've missed a step:

Complete SC & Linux guide
Playing Starcraft using WINE
Wine WIKI : Starcraft

I couldn't find anything in those guides that mentions copying windows DLLs, but if you do require some, this site is normally good

Hope this helps

Thanks for answer. Unfortunately, these links don't appear helpful for me. That's why:

Battle.net is known not to work well with Wine, and modem/direct connect probably don't work either.

Some people have problems running Battle.net. A black screen will appear, and the fonts won't display properly. Single-player games run perfectly fine. Apparently WineX has had some success. Essentially the problem appears to be the use of GDI and DirectX, which Wine optimizes away.

Multiplayer LAN games work just fine (didn't try BattleNet that much yet)

The problem remains unsolved.

Do you know how i can check what libs use my windows executable (StarCraft in this case)? I think this information is essential for me.
