Starcraft freezes after patch (cedega)

I had starcraft running perfectly with the ver 1.10 patch on my box, but I wiped the hdd, and reinstalled Linux for various reasons. Now when I install starcraft, it works fine, untill I apply the patch, then the program plays the videos fine, but freezes at the loading screen. Any ideas?
I'm running Slackware 10.1, and the latest version of Point2Play/cedega (3.3.2 or something I think)

fixed it, I needed to uncheck the "Accelerated Interprocess Communication" box in Point2Play, I'm sure theres a corresponding entry in the cedega config file if you're just running it over the command line. Apparently this option tends to cause a lot of problems with older games.
