Just curious. I'd kinda like to play WC3 or 4 again.
Try here for the Wing Commander games:
DosBox looks like the best solution for them. The Windoze version of Wing Commander, from the Wing Commander Win95 version works. The full version of Wing Commander 1 was released as shareware for the disk in an old copy of PC Gamer. I have it running 100% with Cedega. You'll probably get better results with DosBox though:
For Privateer 2, DOS version, you're better off finding the conversion for it to the Win95 version and using Cedega to run it. The game runs well, but the videos can't be bypassed without crashing the wine-server.

Oh,...
By the way,...
X2 - The Threat and X2 - The Return (expansion pack) DO NOT work in Linux either through a native port, nor do they work in wine/wineX/Cedega. What might otherwise be a good game, is not playable on a choice of platforms. In fact, the mods of the forums (and many of the fans) for the game seem to be downright hostile about even suggesting it. their arguments against the idea are that we as Linux users have to PROVE that we would add significant sales figures,... otherwise they won't even think about it... I guess M$ bought Egosoft a suite of their latest compilers...
But at any rate,... it's a title to avoid. It's another reason to think about downloading VegaStrike.
