Slackware: CSS with cedega

Hello,
I'm trying to run counterstrike source through cedega, but i'm having some difficulties.
Installing steam went fine using cedega, also downloading counterstrike source was no problem.
But when I try to launch counterstrike source I get a window with the text:

Unknown Video Card
Your video card does not appear in our database...

Your driver details
Windows Version: Unknown Windows Version
Description: Direct3D HAL
Version: 0.10.0.11360

And when I click on the button Continue anyway counterstrike source starts loading, and then it crashes, leaving me on the same resolution of css(about 600x400 orso). I don't get any errors from steam, nor in my console, css just stops running. After counterstrike crashes, I don't have any problems with steam, so I gues the crash is not steam related.
I've tried using directx 7, 8, 8.1 and 9 using the paramter:
-dxlevel
But of no avail.
I'm using cedega 5.1.
I've searched the transgaming forum and google, but I couldn't find any similar problems with a solution.
Any idea how I can fix this?

I totally forgot to mention some specs:
GNU/Linux Slackware 10.2
kernel version: 2.6.13
videocard: Geforce FX 5600
nvidia driver: 1.0-8178

I can assure you the "Unknown Video Adapter" warning can be ignored safely. For the desktop resolution on the desktop being the same as CSS, if you are having problems switching back to the original res, just press ctrl+alt+ either - or +. For the game not entering, I had problems with HL2 and its mods only when the game was not fully updated. You should see this somewhere on the line where you highlight the game to launch, something with a percentage sign. It should say something like game ready or 100% or something, but if you see anything 99% or lower then it is still updating the game. I could never launch a game based on HL2, until the game was fully updated. Hope this helps.

It's 100%.
But one thing I fing really strange is that on some distrobutions people can get CSS to work, while some others don't. I gues this have to do with the kernel version and driver version or not?
