Should I expect problems using Joystick T.Flight Stick X on Linux?

Hello,

I'm considering buying a joystick for playing VegaStrike, FlightGear and few other games on Cedega. The joystick on the subject seems a good deal, but does it works on Linux? I use Slackware64-current.

Thanks in advance,
gtludwig

A quick search on Google reports....

If you want to translate joystick to key I recommend you use QJoypad http://qjoypad.sourceforge.net/

I doubt QJoypad would work with flight gear because the keyboard is so over loaded that shift alt and ctrl combos need to be used there are just no keys left to map to some joy stick function

so true... actually that's good for the majority of decent flight simulators.
