Sendmail logfile entry whats it mean

I watch my company's Sendmail logs every day
and occasionally see pairs of entries like this ..

Sep 21 17:37:22 macdonaldcontractors sendmail[3972]: k8L7ZHZ03972: ruleset=check_mail, arg1=<nmzediczmgm@fdt.net>, relay=IDENT:Bll6KPgussCRUVitth0usG1iAEbr09IA@localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1], reject=451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address nmzediczmgm@fdt.net does not resolve

On any day, the same message appears up to a hundred times.

Can anyone explain what it means please .. I think it's showing that my Server is quite properly detecting and bouncing a spam .. am I correct?

ruleset=check_mail, (..), reject=451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address (..) does not resolve
A 4.*.* error code which means it is a temporary failure, in this case the error code points to address resolution.

I think it's showing that my Server is quite properly detecting and bouncing a spam .. am I correct?
It's actively rejecting email so I'd say that's correct.
