Rune: I am getting real bad game play and errors

The only game I ever played when I had windows was Rune. So I decided to buy it for my linux machine. I am getting horrible fps arround 10. When I would play it with windows I would get arround 35. Is It just that linux isn't good for games or could it be the rendering program?

Also Most of the servers I try to enter come up with an error "amenu" mismatched. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

To answer my own question for other people looking for this answer. It isn't amenu mismatch error it is Rmenu mismatch error. In order to fix the problem you must copy the rmenu file from your windoze and paste it into your linux. This will fix your problem. I used the rmenu from a rune without HOV and it worked. To fix the lag I turned down most of the details and I get very good fps on servers with under 7 people in them.

Glad to see I am not the only one that loves this game WRT your fps problem, what I found is, a lot of servers are hosted on ppl's own pcs. This has obvious problems. Also as you say, turning down the detail is probably the best thing to help.
