I installed the quake 3 point release 1.32b and im not getting any sound, there isnt any error, just no sound.
I'm in slackware 9.1 and I think that means I use ALSA, anyone know what I can do to get sound?

(ps: I do get sound in other app's like xmms and xine and stuf like that)

Is your sound card configured correctly? I would guide you through a hardware tool, but I havn't used slack since 3.2 series... Either your sound card isn't configured, or it isn't plugged in.
