You might want to start with this:
http://www.gamedev.net/index.php?app...ion=rules&f=15 And btw: Asking for replies to be emailed to you privately, and posting your email address, is not how we do things here. I recommend at least removing your email address. Quote:

you don't generally rally people to your cause before you have proven your hack value, and have a working and interesting prototype of sorts. at least get a design document. these are tips you should probably take to heart, as this reeks of unprofessional wants-to-be-programmer. furthermore, take a moment to read your post and reflect on how it presents you as a person. ref dugan's post. lastly, this is a Web forum. it is *very* bad etiquette to spam here with no desire of an open discussion.
good luck with your project. it sound fun. I hope it will be free software. |
I recommend Love2D for the engine.
https://love2d.org/ Definitely the best engine I've found for 2D games. 3D would obviously be too ambitious. |
To the OP:
In the past few days you wanted testers for a Debian based XFCE distro, you wanted help to develop a command line application, and now you want co-operation on developing a game. Is there any vision to your plans? Should we take them seriously? jlinkels |
