Has anyone got this game working through wine/cadega? I know the port is coming but I installed it on my friends computer and god damn that game kicks ass. I wanna' play the game now but I don't wanna' install Windows again as I hate the damn OS. The performance is terrible compared to linux.
Well looks like it's not running. Getting this error:
err:module:BUILTIN32_dlopen failed to load .so lib for builtin glu32.dll: /home/frostbot/.WineCVS/installs/cvscedega/lib/libglu32.so: undefined symbol: dllname
err:module:PE_fixup_imports Module (file) GLU32.dll (which is needed by D:\games\doom3\Doom3.exe) not found
If anyone can help me with this that would be great!
I managed to actually run the game with "wine" rather than "cvscedega". Problem is there's no sound and the sound is very important in this game. If you can help with either way to run it let me know please.
