Play YuGiOh! online for free and easy!

Finally there exists freeware and automatic tool YGOPRO to play YuGiOh! trading card game on PC(that includes Windows, Linux and Mac aswell)! Check it out. Won't regret. For game info how to play you can check it's wikia page and visit forum.

Warning: This game is much tougher and takes more out of player than Pokemon. Also this isn't just for kids. Try it and you will understand why. For people who are looking for easy, fun and serious game at same time this is must(have to) try.

First I thought: "Nice haven't played that for ages!", then I saw that the developers don't offer a Linux version, but only recommend to use Wine, which would force me to go multilib. So no YugiOh! for me, sadly.

Arcane 05-20-2013 06:08 AM

Wait - what? :O You like this game but won't use wine? Wierd. :/ It takes seconds to install wine. :D Anyway i think they are working on it or you can suggest it on forums or even better - help make that linux version(in this case) by yourself - they won't mind help. :) Otherwise you can just stick with DN, KCVDS, YVD and PoC etc. which are manual and outdated. :(

Nope, it doesn't. I have a pure 64 bit system and would have the hassle to install multilib libraries and maintain them, something I don't want to do. I will wait until we get a native version.

Or you can read this topic. You're welcome. ;)

Thanks, will try that as soon as I am back on my Linux machines.

Arcane 05-20-2013 02:55 PM

Sure thing. Just don't forget to post feedback and results of your "try" so we might know if something is wrong or works fine and maybe help others to get it working aswell on their linux since compiling is not really childs play. :)

TobiSGD 05-20-2013 04:29 PM

Tried it, installed the pre-requisites as mentioned, compile fails with errors in Lua components.
In the meantime I tried the Windows version on a Windows installation and I am not impressed. It was not possible for me to start a single-player game (I could only load pre-made save-games, not funny), multiplayer games didn't connect, not even as spectator. May be I will have a look at this when it is in a better state and has an official Linux version, for now I will leave it as it is.

Hmm..something is wrong with your installation then or if you did Virtual Windows installation then it might not work but on clean Windows(no virtual soft like virtualbox etc.) it runs fine without your mentioned errors. Also if you have problems with default .exe there is alternate .exe but it will be released bit later i guess.

edit: Try redownloading and redoing..sometimes downloads can get corrupted.

edit 2: It seems like there were few bugs on 1.031.0 V2 release but it should be quick-fixed by now and probably should work on virtual Win aswell with video card. Also there were few errors in topic i provide for you so try that again. Anyway what is your current situation? Does it work or not?

So yea..it has been a while and many new releases are released by now. Still having problems with game?
