hi i am using nvidia driver 5336 and it is working fine. i can run foobillard fine and glxgears runs pretty good giving about 2400 fps on average. i installed armagetron and it needed export SDL_AUDIODRIVER=alsa; armagetron from the command line to work at all. when i run it though it is to slow. the keyboard reaction is to slow so i just crash into walls and die. the music palys a normal speed but the graphics are just to slow. i figure since i had to set one environment variable to get it to work, i must have to set something else because my nvidia driver is obviously working fine. i already tried to change game display and graphics options but that didn't do anything. the file i downloaded for armagetron is armagetron-0.2.6.0-1.0.rh9.dag.i386.rpm and it installed fine.

hmm. thats strange,... armagetron was the first 3d game that worked for me (when i had direct rendering disabled (couldn't get it working), and glxgears never more hen 375 (580 now with direct rendering) )

or maybe change the display settings to something lighter? ... or maybe its just a bad package
