no sound quake 3 - slack 10(using alsa)

i installed q3 and works nice, but just without the sound.

the problem is that when using alsa, it cant load /dev/dsp

when i try this:
echo "quake3.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss

the game cant connect, cause it stops when load any map.

so, is there some way to work quake and alsa?

if not, how could i down the alsa module and up de oss module to it works???

well, thats it

tkz since now
