No Sound in CS?

I'm running Counter-Strike(1.5) through winex. After installing new Nvidia drivers, the video works very well. However, there is no sound. I think I remember hearing about this problem. Any suggestions?

What version of WineX are you using? Have you configured your ~/.transgaming/config to use the proper sound driver?
