Nintendo


Are there good emulators for the nes on linux? On windows I used nesticle.

The one I settled on is RockNES. I always pick the one that has the save/load state feature. And Game Genie code support is nice, too.

fceu has save/load state as well, if you can find the just-before-it-died version that has it.

Yes, fceu has joystick support. My Nyko works perfectly. Fceu Ultra is really nice, it even supports mapper 5 for Castlevania 3.

For GB/GBA, Visualboyadvance with the Gnomeboyadvance frontend is a nice combo.

For SNES, ZSNES is very nice.

For N64, Mupen64 is good.

I have a TV card for my Cube so now my computer can play just about everything Nintendo ever did. Maybe there will be a DS emu soon?

Valid Command

i did it with the following command call:

fceu -input1 gamepad -inputcfg gamepad1 snes_rom.nes

nes on ydl ps3

can anyone help me install nes emulators on my yelloy dog linux 5.0 on my ps3??? never used linux and i cant open anything,,,thanks ahead
