Newsgroups for Linux games binaries

I have searched far and wide, and googled for a while on this. I even sent an email to my usenet provider, and they said that they didn't know of any. There are alot of free games out there for Linux, but they are all over the place. Rather than swamping through dozens of websites, I'd rather use a centralized source for my Linux gaming fix. Does anyone know of a newsgroup that offers binaries of Linux games?

Thanks.

you'll need some form of bittorent client.

Oh the pains of being on an intrusive school network. They filter out all bit torrent connections, prohibiting me from using it for anything.

Have you ever checked the games over on www.happypenguin.org ? In the upper left hand corner there is a small box that says games. I suggest clicking A-Z so it will list all games and go page by page untill you find the ones you want. Or unless you know the name already.

It's not much maybe but it's the best place I can think of.

1:30 hours? you lucky guy!!! i have 28k, and that download, i would have to halt it once, reconnect, then resume. btw, it would take me about 9 hrs. btw kj, did you see the linux gaming faq?
http://icculus.org/lgfaq
and the linux game list:
http://icculus.org/lgfaq/gamelist.php
i would have posted those earlier, but i thought you only wanted newsgroups. better then nothing
