New to Wine

Well i'm working on this problem with mounting burned cds on another form...but when i get it working i'm going to trying and get wine working...i had it before but i didn't work.
I have the source code for the latest version...what do i do with it?
do i need the older version along with the source?

please please please don't try to just use wine to get your windows programs to work. there are many better native linux clients out there... please try using them, you'll save yourself SO much hassle. i've no idea what "mounting burned cds on another form" is meant to mean either....

ok nevermind about the not being able to mount burned CDs...

But i want to use WINE for some games, not windows programs.

I tried using wine for games, but I got tired of fiddling with it and used cedega instead. While cedega does require some fiddling, using the readme file and the transgaming wiki I have been able to get many games installed.

Point2play takes a lot of headache out of installing games.

If you don't want to pay for a subscription there is a CVS version, however it is missing point2play and winex must be compiled from source.

All in all I have had a much better experience with cedega than wine and am currently working my way through Counter Strike: Condition Zero, which I bought last year but never opened til last month when I wanted it to be my test game, it works great.

You can see the screenshots I added here:
