Need nominations - Game of the Year


The LinuxQuestions.org 2003 Members Choice awards are right around the corner and I am looking for some Linux - Games nominations. This year we will have two game awards:

Open Source Game of the Year
Commercial Game of the Year

I see a flam comming, but Halo is the only game I'll play. So glad it's on PC.

Commercial: Neverwinter Nights
OpenSource: Frozen Bubble, FreeCiv, Celestia (it's simulation, but IMHO also a game).

computerjunkie, halo might be ported, and its not bad to like it because it was developed by bungie, the same ppl who made us marathon: aleph one. its only published by m$

I have to second, or third that. Unreal Tournament 2003 for commercial game of the year.

Here's the problem, you guys are picking for Game of the year game that have been out for a while. UT2k3 came out last year, didn't it?

I know Quake 3 has been out for a while.

This is kind of off subject but....

Why is everybody nominating UT2003?

I've played it and it ... SUCKS!

Which kind of pi$$ed me of!
I love Unreal and Unreal tournament but UT2003 was dissapointing.
