Mupen64plus won't play games
Hello, I have an ibm R50 laptop with an ATI Radeon Mobility 7500. I just can't get mupen64plus to run on this laptop.
When i run it I get this error:
The core thread received a SIGSEGV signal.
This means it tried to access protected memory.
Maybe you have set a wrong ucode for one of your plugins!
I installed it from the ubuntu repository. I have scoured the settings and tried tons of different things, but no dice.
I'm running mythbuntu 9.10.
Any ideas?
-Thanks

Please show us the full output of 'glxinfo'. Unfortunately checking for direct rendering is not enough these days as you can get direct rendering with the software renderer.

Alright, so your 3D drivers are setup properly. You may want to check with the mupen64plus folks to see if your video card and drivers are capable of running those games.
