mp3 and gaming
 

Hello LinuxFreaks :)

is there any possibility to listen to mp3s and play a game eg q3, because i only hear the sound of one of them.

sometimes i listened to mp3 then stopped xmms and then gamed and heard nothing....

i had to deactivate the arts soundsystem, because most games dont work with it.

what Sound card are you using?

some sound cards are capable of playing over 250+ instruments at the same time, in which case you should be able to hear an mp3, play an Audio CD, and play a computer game with no problem, :)

but, what've you GOT?
