Question Mouse precision in quake3 and mods

Hi! My mouse can't be fast AND precise. When i set mouse speed near maximum, the cursor moves across too many pixels, even if i move slowly. I've tried to change the mouse parameters in .q3config and in xorg.conf, but no way.

Tried to use dga parameters in .q3config and in xorg.conf, but the only thing i've done is a darker screen...
