Memory error when logging into WoW

I do not have the memory error, but I just started getting a memory addressing error when logging into WoW this afternoon. I heard there was a client side patch this morning and am not sure if it is related or not. I am running Slackware 10.1 and WoW has been running great for almost a week now. I thought it may have something to do with prelink and exec-shield before I heard about the patch.

The article talks about those issues, but is in reference to Fedora. I am not sure how to disable these features on Slackware. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone had trouble running WoW since the patch?

Thanks in advance.
