Linux PowerVCR equivalent?

Hello,

I've got a Leadtek Winfast 2000 TV tuner card. I don't know if it's a standard feature of TV tuner cards or not, but my card supports video capture via AVS/S-Video input from a VCR/Video Camera/whatever, as well as the expected analog cable in.

For Windows I use PowerVCR, a suite which lets me view input from AVS/Cable, do video recording and editing.

I was wondering, what (in everyone's opinion) is a suitable Linux version of the same type of program?

My bad, I forgot I was under the "games" subsection of "software".
Would a moderator please move this? to "software" only, please?
Sorry for the mistake!
