I'm trying to install FreeSpace 2 on Ubuntu 7.04. I found a most excellent .jar file that downloaded for me the Windows binaries and game files, and had the option for getting the Mac bins as well, but no Linux. I've seen it mentioned a few times, notably on the FS wiki, but always as being great for everything but Linux binaries.
Where can I find binaries for FS2 under Ubuntu?
EDIT: Tried wine, no dice. Linux installer here (
http://icculus.org/~ravage/freespace2/) doesn't work either.
