Now All has been well with my gaming rig
(Fedora core 1/ nvidia / 1gig ram/ athlon 2400)

So last night I'm feeling froggy and want to compile a new kernel (2.6.6) for my game machine. All goes well with compile and video card driver installs. Then I jump on Q3 | House of Pain server and my scroll wheel refuses to work. I play a minute and at one point it actually worked for about 2 seconds.
It works fine on other apps and everything else works great in Q3 (movement & buttons) But no wheel?

Any Ideas, Should I try to reinstall point release?

You could try a reinstall of the release, but Im not sure it would do good... Try rebinding the mouse wheel to the functions you want it to perform in the options.
