Installing Steam With Wine - Temp Files Missing

I downloaded the Steam Installer, but when I run it, I get an error:

Could not initialize installation. C:\windows\temp\GLC6ff.tmp Path not found

The temp file varies, but it's always the same error. I don't have a temp folder at all in my windows folder. Should Wine have created one?

Have you tried to create the folder in the proper place and give some according permissions?
