If Possible, I'd like to get Call of Duty/Call of Duty 2, Descent & Descent II going

I have recently tried 'wine', but seems like I am not getting anywhere. Call of Duty 2 shows the splash screen but then fails to perform the installation.
Descent doesn't load up anything.
I can't seem to check the others yet, because when I try to insert them, I get "no files, no folders..." I have to like reboot to see the files again, and now my computer is going very slow, the words I'm typing are slow, trying to keep up, and the mouse is jerky.
Is this due to "wine"?
I guess two concerns, how to get those cames going (Call of Duty, Call of Duty - United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Descent & Descent II)
and also, if "wine" may slow up my computer due to some bad config or what.

It seems like I installed Cedega and it installed with no errors:

[jeremy@localhost Desktop]$ sh cedega_timedemo_installer
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Cedega Time Demo................................................................................................ ....................................................................................................
[jeremy@localhost Desktop]$

So, what now? Unless I'm blind, I don't see what else to do, nor do I see this anywhere in the menu.

Well, on my machine it then gave me a window asking to either enter in the registration key (demo with a registration, go fig) or fill out the form required to get a key for the demo. Then it locked up my computer. Only program to ever do that, too. Hmm..

I guess I'll just use Windows XP, being Call of Duty 2 seems to only work for Windows.
