How can i run Diablo II Lod with winex 3.3

Hello,

I managed to install DIablo II LOd with winex, and it installed in home/oscarc/program files/Diablo II, however i cant get it to actually run... Can anyone help me out?. Any help will be greatly apreciated. I see in my K start menu, that there is a winex>programs>diablo II>usual exe icons, but they dont do anything.
Thank you,
Oscar

Does WineX spit out any error message? You may have to check your TTY console or attempt to run D2 via terminal to retrieve the message.

I had troubles running Diablo 2 under WineX as well, although I do not remember the error it put out nor do I still have it installed.

try using point2play?

How did you install it? Did you just run winex from a prompt or did you use winex's point2play application? I've used d2+lod under winex using point2play and it runs fine. Only thing that i encounter is that its a bit jerky under full screen so i use a windowed mode. Also check out the game specific faqs on the transgaming website (http://www.transgaming.com), you should find a very large section for d2 and lod.

Don't know if this helps..

I used winex CVS and with no patch cd for Diablo II and it ran perfectly with no other configurations..

Don't know if if LOD would work the same way.
