half-life wont load using cvscedega

I installed cvscedega using the winecvs.sh script then proceeded to install half-life from the CD. but when ever I start Half-Life using
Code:
cvscedega /usr/games/wine/c_drive/SIERRA/Half-Life/hl.exe -- -console
It shows a loading cursor on a black screen. I can move the cursor around but nothing else happens. If I start Half-Life without the -console option it displays the error:

"Could not load mci file for playback: 266 :There is an undetectable problem in
loading the specified device driver"

And I can't see the cursor.

Any help on this?

How about buying a subscription and using the actual stable releases of cedega instead?
You shouldn't be surprised that a CVS build doesn't work.
