GXmame does not find roms...

Yeah, it may sound stupid, but it doesnt find the roms in the rom dir...

All I did was to set the rom dir in options->directories->Basic Paths-> roms path, into the current rom dir...

Still doesn;t list any of them...
Does anyone have any idea?

thanks.

Are the roms actually in that directory?
Are they compressed in an archive?
If so, do they need to be uncompressed first?

Same thing here : (

I too have this same issue. I am running ubuntu breezy and even put the roms in the default rom dir just to be safe. I am running GXMame 0.34 and have also tried 0.34b. Another note is that xmame itself *will* find the roms in the current rom directory (ie. I type "xmame sfa3.zip" from any directory and it will launch it).

I have had no luck finding anything on this one, so any help would be very much appreciated.

Mr. Swillis
