Question Good Linux Distros for Gaming and Emulation

I'm upgrading my computer and looking for a linux distro with good hardware compatibility for running games, emulators, and wine. Right now im on Fedora 3 with a custom kernel.

My new hardware is gonna be:
AMD ATHLON 64 3000+
SOLTEK MOBO w/ Nvidia Nforce 250
ATI RADEON 9600 256 mb

Also, good x86_64 compatibility and packages would be nice

I was looking at Fedora 4, but I wanted to try something new.
