Good games to play with a joystick?

I just ordered a joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), mainly for vehicle combat sims running in DosBox (Wing/Strike Commander and the X-Wing/Tie+Fighter match-ups).

What other games are good to play with a joystick that has a stick, throttle and hat?

a basic game "Tux racer "
also known as "extreme-tuxracer"

belly slide down the ski slope

or "supertuxkart"

been a while but "Vegastrike"

Which source port do you recommend? Or is DosBox the best way to play it?
