GL-117 - game would not start after resolution change

Just installed SuSe 10. GL-117, the flight simulator, started nice first time, then I was playing with resolution, then quit - everything was without a glitch.
however, when trying next time to launch the game, it would not start. Instead it would show the rotating sandwatch and that would be it.
I tried deleting the game via YaST, then re-installing, to no avail.
Any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome as I dont want to re-install SuSe just because one game does not want to play.
Maybe I can start the game with a special parameter or key or something?

gl-117

I play every day with this nice game and I had to read documentation cause my 2-nd joystick button doesn't work.
I read that if you delete gl-117's config files it switches to default, probably with a config that is good for your settings, so, since first time it worked, I think it should work again. (Nevertheless, I don't know how to force it to a different video setting, resolution, etc... )
But if you want simply have it working, try "rm -fR ${HOME}/.gl-117" (beware to typing!...) : the game should choose for your system a config working...
