Getting Pacific Poker to work

Anyone gotten the java client for Pacific Poker to work? I tried it under the latest versions of firefox and the jre and the lobby loaded but if I join a table nothing shows up apart from 2 cards a chip and some chip noises. I'm using Slackware 10.1.
