Game server at startup/boot

Greetings:

I´m able to run a mohaa dedicated server on linux (no problems here

)

But I would like to start it when my computers is turned on (POWER "ON"

)

I tried adding this in rc.local
/home/user/MOHAA/mohaa_lnxded +exec ffa.cfg

but it didn´t work... any ideas?

Try adding it to your /etc/init.d, I think you should just have to add a link to the program into the folder but not positive on that (anyone that knowshow this is done please post). I use Webmin for adding things to my init.d. With Webmin you just need to input the shell script to start a dedicated server.

I didn´t mentioned, I´m running FreeBSD 5.2.1 and I don´t have init.d... I just have to "mkdir init.d" ??

Anyway, I think the problem could be that mohaa_lnxded is an aplication.. not a service like "apachectl start"
