frozen bubble Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

Hi!

I installed frozen bubble from source (rpm didn't work-- dependencies..) it loads up and everything, I can run frozen-bubble.. and change options and keys and stuff, but when I hit enter on SP game, it crashes with the error: Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) Oh and I installed the dependency from the frozen-bubble site.. the perlSDL one

anybody? I tried updating the SDL but dependencies.. again.. but I think it's new enough anyway (Fedora Core 1, updated to the day)

there are a few more sdl packages that frozen-bubble needs as far as i know (at least on slackware). they include and should probably be installed in this order: sdl-mixer, sdl-image, sdl-ttf, and then perl 1.19, then frozen-bubble.

have you tried using google for your error message?

I googled around and did tried to install all those packages.. from scratch now.. no rpms.. I did it in that order too.. still the same.. I recompiled frozen bubble too.. argh..

ah superb.. I removed the frozen-bubble directory.. then re-extracted.. recompiled.. and it WORKED!! yay :D

No, the window controls don't work (dunno why)-- you have to use the ESC button to close the game window. It seems to be set up that way.
