Error on quake sound

Hello, i'm having some problems with quake because i can't get any sound on it.

I read on a howto that i should run artsdsp -m fuhquake-gl.glx

So i tried this but i'm getting those errors

Code:
fernando@debian-fernando:~/quake$ artsdsp -m fuhquake-
fuhquake-gl.glx fuhquake-security.dll fuhquake-security.so
fernando@debian-fernando:~/quake$ artsdsp -m fuhquake-gl.glx
Usage: file [-bcikLhnNsvz] [-f namefile] [-F separator] [-m magicfiles] file...
       file -C -m magicfiles
Try `file --help' for more information.

artsdsp works only for binaries
It says only works for binaries? But fuhquake-gl.glx is a binary. What can i do?

Could you please open up a Konsole window and try to run quake from there, and post that output here? Thanks.
