With stock Fedora kernels and nVidia drivers there is a problem: You are not using AGP and some games rely more on it than others. Witht he AGP version of the card this would have been easily solved, however if you could run the game with the 5200 and not with so good with the 6200, then something was quite strange in the setup. You should also have posted your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to check for driver options and whatnot. Anyway, hope this replacement card you got works fine with other games as well.

On the Transgamming Site, They said something about the new drivers:

"We have also become aware of some performance problems with the nVidia 8174 and 8178 drivers. On AGP-based systems the amount of AGP memory that can be allocated is limited to 32MB or less, regardless of the AGP Aperture size. This will cause significant performance problems in resource intensive games. This problem has been reported to nVidia and we are working with them to address the issue. In the mean-time we recommend that users with these types of systems continue to use the 76xx series of drivers."
